John Day (Soil Conservation Adviser – Emu Ridge Pty Ltd) is spending the week in Monto providing erosion control and remediation design advice as part of BCCA’s Natural Disaster Resilience Project.
Much of the damage sustained at the sites we’ve visited is as a result of erosive soil types and previous years flooding events. Right now however, it sure is dry out there. Hoping for some rain this weekend.
