From across the Burnett, 28 landholders took advantage of the fencing materials that were offered to assist with replacing damaged fences that keep cattle out of the creeks following the January floods.
Approximately 47km worth of steel pickets and wire were supplied to applicants who lost fences that ran along their creek or river which had been used to control cattle access to the water. On some places, the materials came just in time and were put to use by the visiting BlazeAid volunteers.
Thanks to all who participated and best wishes for your continuing recovery.
