BCCA officers Louise Newman and Melinda Myles were invited to attend the AGM of the Mulgildie CWA last week. Louise gave an entertaining speech to the 20 or so members of the CWA committee, informing them of the work BCCA undertake in the region. The attendees were most interested in how we operate and the various funding opportunities available to landholders wishing to improve the sustainability of their property. BCCA employees five women with science backgrounds who are based in the Burnett, doing Natural Resource Management work and also raising families in the rural community.
