Looking for assistance to defend local bushland and creekside from the smothering clutches of Cat’s Claw Creeper.
Gympie Landcare will be launching its Cats Claw Action project for 2012 to assist groups of interested landholders with direct on-ground technical advice and to offer some financial assistance through the “Caring for our Country” program.
When: 10.00 am – 12.30 pm, Sunday 19th February 2012
Where: Six Mile Creek rest area, Bruce Highway just south of Gympie.

Pass the word around, discuss with interested friends and neighbours. Come prepared for a walk and a bit of hands on learning (suitable shoes, hat and sun protection). Bring a folding chair if you need it. Light refreshments provided.
