          • 130 ha of riparian native vegetation enhanced or rehabilitated
          • 15 km of streambank riparian vegetation enhanced and rehabilitated
          • 70 land managers with improved knowledge and skills
          • 8 technical field days and workshops

BCCA partnered with BMRG, SEQ Catchments, Condamine Alliance and MRCCC to deliver the SuperGraze project. At the time, this project was the largest open call grant funded by C4OC.

The BCCA component of SuperGraze assisted 25 graziers in the Burnett to improve their grazing land management practices. These graziers had all previously completed the EdgeNetwork Grazing Land Management Workshop. To re-engage with these graziers, BCCA with the assistance of QPIF, held three Grazing Land Management refresher training courses in Monto, Gayndah and Kingaroy to remind graziers of the key principles of grazing land management and to introduce them to the SuperGraze project.

BCCA and QPIF organised eight technical days at Monto, Gayndah, Kingaroy and Gin Gin, assisting an additional 70 land managers to improve their knowledge and skills in beef economics, sown pastures, weeds and grazing systems.

The SuperGraze extension team provided one-on-one support to graziers to assess land condition and tree basal area on property, use computerised property mapping, calculate carrying capacity, identify hotspots and opportunities that exist on the property, prepare grazing land management plans and set up Stocktake pasture monitoring points.
