Native Forest Management Field Day – Boomerang

• The latest update on Legislation, Code of Practice and vegetation mapping,
• Trigger Maps, & Notification of a Forest Practice
• Fire management
• Forest Assessment
• Current timber products and what they are worth,
• Organising an harvest, dealing with contractors etc
• Optimal tree stocking— selecting the best trees to retain to optimise grazing and timber production
• Managing grazing stocking levels within a forest environment
• Growth results from 6 thinning trials

***Tea, coffee and smoko provided, bring your own lunch, water and folding chair***
