Burnett Mary Regional Group is hosting a workshop for landholders interested in improving pastures by using manure and compost. Guest speaker will be David Hall – self-employed agriculture consultant with extensive experience in plant nutrition and soil fertility working with cropping, dairy and grazing land managers.
Topics on the day include:
- Different types of manures/compost.
- How do they work?
- Which is best for you?
- Making your own compost.
- Field results from manure or compost use.
