BCCA were proud to partner with the South Burnett Grazing Network and Stanwell to deliver a highly successful day with internationally renowned educator Graeme Sait in Kingaroy. Held at the Kingaroy Town Hall Reception Room on Tuesday, 24 June, the full-day workshop “Soil Health and Your Wealth” drew more than 50 attendees, all keen to deepen their understanding of the vital links between soil, plant, animal, and human health.
The session proved to be a valuable and inspiring learning opportunity for graziers, growers, and regenerative agriculture enthusiasts alike. Participant feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with many describing the day as “very informative” and calling Graeme Sait “a sensational speaker” — several even requested a return visit.
BCCA also used the day to connect with landholders and gather input on priorities for building resilience across the region. Topics raised included:
• Soil science and mapping
• Regenerative grazing and land management
• Animal nutrition
• Composting
• Cover cropping and multispecies planting
