We are excited to announce that the Burnett Koala Program has recently been extended to establish the FIRST EVER Inland Burnett baseline dataset for of koala population dynamics and health via DNA testing of scats, non-invasively collected by the community.
This next phase of the Burnett Koala Program is delivered in partnership with Olivia Woosnam (CEnvP) and OWAD Environment and is funded by the Australian Government Saving Koalas Fund, through the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water. The project is proudly supported by Wide Bay Burnett Environment Council Inc & Goondicum Pastoral Co (@goondicumpastoral).
