Burnett Catchment Care Association (BCCA) & Bean Growers Australia (BGA) invites South Burnett farmers on Black Soils to be part of the Better Catchments project for 2016. The Better Catchments project offers eligible cropping farmers one-on-one support and technical advice to help implement improved practice changes.
To be eligible, producers must:
- Attend workshop in Murgon or Kingaroy – see flyer
- Have a cropping property within the South Burnett catchment (upstream of Paradise Dam);
- Be willing to implement actions to improve practice changes in line with industry standards
management practices; and - Undertake a before and after survey of your cropping management practices.
