What a fantastic day at Coalstoun Lakes for the Queensland Globe Mapping Workshop! While our group was small the enthusiasm and eagerness to learn were huge.
Participants had a hands-on experience learning how to draw key features like fences, water points and also how to measure paddock sizes and calculate elevation. They also explored how to access valuable imagery layers such as bore reports and vegetation management layers.
If you were unable to attend, we have some Qld Globe resources on our Burnett Ag Hub – https://burnettaghub.com.au/land/mapping/
It’s great to see how valuable these tools are in helping landholders make informed management decisions about their properties. Big thanks to everyone who joined us and made the day a success!
BCCA was able to provide this assistance thanks to BIEDO ’s “Building Resilience and Recovery of the North Burnett” project funded under the joint Commonwealth State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements.
