Burnett Catchment Care Association is inviting Upper Burnett graziers to register their interest in receiving funding for regenerative agriculture projects to improve soil health on their grazing property.

Participants will –

  • Receive support to develop a regenerative agriculture project such as multi species pastures or time controlled grazing on their property
  • Receive funding of up to $5000 to implement regeneration agriculture activities on their property
  • Undertake soil testing to demonstrate an improvement in soil health by the implementation of their activities.

Conditions apply –

  • Participant properties must be located in the Upper Burnett, as per the map (subcatchments of Baywulla, Nogo, St Johns, Three Moon & Upper Burnett)
  • Successful registrations will be required to develop a project plan with a BCCA Extension Officer
  • Funding is competitive & will be assessed based on project suitability & potential to demonstrate an improvement in soil health
  • Projects must be completed by May 2024
  • Landholders must complete the registration form completely Registration doesn’t guarantee participation in the project
