SUMMARY:Better manage your beef business
DESCRIPTION:Many beef business owners are looking to grow and expand their business. Many also want to create a more professional business which can run effectively without needing their constant input. \nTo do this\, they are looking for support in these areas: \n\nmaking a business attractive for investment (including from the bank)\ncreating a higher value product\nmanaging financial performance and maximising return on investment\ngetting the most out of people (staff\, family)\narticulating and delivering a strong succession (or business transition) strategy\ngetting everyone on the same page\, working together to achieve consistent results.\n\nCreating a high performing business can be challenging. Many people feel frustrated because they can’t find the practical ‘how-to’ strategies\, or they can’t find the time to start making changes. \nThe Beef Business Management Program \nThe Beef Business Management Program is designed to support you to create a well-rounded and highly effective beef business\, which is structured to achieve your personal and business goals. \nIt builds on other programs that are available for the beef industry such as Business EDGE and Grazing BMP. \nThe program features a combination of group workshop and personal business mentoring sessions as well as group catch-ups via teleconferences and webinars\, with topics built around the ABDI 12 Pillars of Business Practice. \nIn the program\, you will: \n\nLearn from business specialists who have been there before\nConnect with a group of like-minded business owners\, who face similar challenges\nWork with your personal business mentor to start making necessary changes.\n\nThe outcome for participating businesses is to get clear on what is required to take their business to the next level\, develop a clear game plan about how to make it happen and then start making the changes. \nThe next intake for the Beef Business Management Program is 2-4 August 2017. \nFor more information or to register: \nThe program is currently significantly subsidised in 2017 by the program partners to one-third of the retail price\, so now is an ideal time to register! \n\nFirst participant: $2295 (incl. GST)\nAdditional participants from the same business: $995 (incl. GST)\n\nThe Beef Business Management Program is supported by ABDI\, the Meat & Livestock Australia Donor Company\, AgForce\, Crowe Horwath and the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries. \nFor more information\, or for your copy of the program brochure\, visit the Beef Business Management Program webpage or contact Gordon Stone (ABDI Director and Program Mentor) on 07 4615 2255 or email info@abdi.com.au.
