DESCRIPTION:Land managers in the Boyne Valley\, Calliope and Gladstone areas are invited to this hands-on workshop to learn how to get their pasture ready for the break of the season.\n\nThe workshop will cover cost-effective actions that improve water retention and drought resilience.\n\nTopics include:\n– Soil health\n– Forage budgeting\n– Pasture management\n– Measuring and improving water infiltration\n\nPlus\, come along and chat with local agronomist Ross Newman.\n\nGuest Presenter\nKatlin Tilly – Fitzroy Basin Association\nKatlin works with Fitzroy land managers to help them improve the productivity and condition of their country. She is passionate about finding custom solutions that work for land managers\, their land and their goals.\n\nMorning tea\, lunch and afternoon tea provided.
