Building Resilience in the Agricultural South BurnettThis project aims to build & enhance natural disaster resilience of the predominately agricultural South Burnett regional communities.
Assistance provided by the Queensland Government and Australian Government under The Queensland Resilience and Risk Reduction Fund.
The Opportunity
The project is designed to specifically assist agribusinesses (of which South Burnett communities rely on) to strengthen their resilience to natural disaster by leading and linking with those who effect change, to build capacity, educate and facilitate connection.
Essentially the project aims to assist agribusinesses examine their operations and determine ways to mitigate the impact of natural disasters and climate change.
