Wild Dog Trapping Day

With Darren Pointon & Mark Beil

On Saturday, 30th August 2014

 

Darren & Mark are professional dog trappers with many years of experience around the Burnett area. Wild dogs cost the grazing industry millions of dollars each year in Australia. They also do great damage to native animal populations. Learn their habits and how to catch and dispose of wild dogs.

Itinerary

10.00am Start – meet at the RSL Hall, Bauer St. Mundubbera

Darren will speak about the habits of wild dogs and the best ways to attract and catch them.

12.00pm Lunch – we will be providing lunch free of charge.

1.00 pm Field Demonstration – Darren and Mark will demonstrate different ways to lay out lures and set traps to catch the maximum number of dogs.

3.00pm Finish

 

COST: $10 per person or farming enterprise.
