Public Invitation
The Queensland Reconstruction Authority in conjunction with the North Burnett Regional Council is conducting a series of “Flood Recovery Forums” over the North Burnett. The forums will begin with a brief public address by Deputy Commissioner Brett Pointing in his role as Recovery and Reconstruction Coordinator, Mayor for North Burnett Regional Council, Don Waugh and key service providers. The public address sessions will go for approximately 45 minutes. Representatives from the key service providers will be available to speak with people seeking advice or assistance on a one on one basis for the remainder of the day.
These forums will provide you with an update on the progress of recovery efforts and information packs on the assistance available from all agencies will be available.
