ABARES is holding seven one–day Regional Outlook conferences around Australia in 2012, with one in each state and the Northern Territory.

Each conference delivers thought–provoking information, from local agricultural data and innovative business practices through to the global commodity overview. Conference delegates can hear commodity forecasts, discuss industry trends, access information and make new contacts in their community that encourage new approaches to traditional issues.

ABARES – the Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics and Sciences – provides integrated economic and scientific research, analysis and advice to government and industry on the key policy challenges facing the agriculture, fisheries and forestry sectors today and into the future.  Our closest event will be happening in Toowoomba on Thursday October 25th.  For more information follow this link: http://www.daff.gov.au/abares/conferences-events/regional-outlook/toowoomba
